I just knew this was gonna be your thread :)

In your opinion is there any correlation between prices and how densely populated the other areas are in comparison, I would imagine the Uk to be pretty compact compared to others therefore impacting on cost, or are we just cheap skates.

No, actually I don't think VM's broadband is expensive considering in my case it comes with the phone and TV packages for the rest of the household (all that matters to me is a stable internet connection).

I think their newer CPEs are badly conceived ideas, but you knew that already. :D

UK on relative cost is in the middle. Say's it all about UK!

Could we now have the tie in relating to the different types of management as we have now verified that UK is middle of the road as far as costs are concerned?

No we're second cheapest. Countries where the monthly income is a fraction of ours cannot be fairly compared so the stat I mentioned is the most reasonable comparison, broadband service cost relative to GDP.

we 2nd cheapest and its still not enough for ofcom, they want it even cheaper.
