hey guys

i have a bit of complicated issue of transferring funds from abroad to uk.
now the currency exchange office in the non-eu country have said an option is, they can delivery the money to a preferred location.

i had over the money to them and they will arrange for money to be available in my countr.

I will be given a code and a telephone number, and i can get someone to ring this number and they can collect the money?

has anyone ever had experience of this? and is this a geninue legal money transfer process?

Isn't this what companies like Western Union and Moneygram do?

I've never had to use this, but as far as I know it's perfectly legitimate. I would think that generally a bank transfer would be a cheaper option though.

As above a bank transfer or even at a push Paypal.

Bank to bank transfer using the IBAN number you should find on your bank statement is faster, more secure and AFAIC, cheaper than any other method.

Sounds a bit risky. I would use International Bank Number (IBAN) and your International branch code. These will be on your statement..
