There’s a LiveJournal meme floating around at the moment that asking people to list ten things they’ve done that other people they know probably haven’t.
Here's my (poor) starter for ten...
1. Punched Mark Almond (of Soft Cell fame)
2. Lain in a concealed hide in a field in Norn Iron for 48 hours
3. Travelled to and from New Zealand 12 times in 2 years
4. Listened to the crew of a TU-95 Bear celebrating Moscow Dynamo winning a match
5. Lost a wedding ring in the Singapore Airlines Business Class lounge in Changi Airport
6. Had a few beers with David Haye
7. Caught the passenger ferry across the Clyde from Govan to Partick
8. Been in a drinks round with Jeffrey Archer, Norman Tebbit, and Dennis Thatcher
9. Rowed the length of Lake Windermere
10. Illegally entered (and left) the USA

you aint picked my nose and you certainly have been no where near my nuts :-) concept grasped just fine dude ;)

2. Reffed a wrestling match with a former WWE star
3. Had my own radio show
4. Taught Mark Owen how to say "Good Morning" and "I love you" in Welsh
5. Slept in the same bed as a Miss World contestant
6. Sneezed over Cheryl Cole
7. Had my head (ie the one on top of my neck) polished by Darren Hayes from Savage Garden
8. Scared the life out of (former CF and nthw.com mod) Neil Crayne with my driving
9. Had a kettle, road cone and Yellow Pages thrown at me "in the name of fun".
10. Screamed like a pig in public at getting my 'bikini line' waxed "in the name of fun".
1. Became a father at 15.
2. Flew to Canada and set off back four hours after arriving.
3. Taught a topless woman to drive.
4. Went to school with Mick Hucknall.
5. Broke my kneck.
6. Had George Best visit me personally in hospital.
7. Been possum hunting.
8. Had a police officer pull a gun on me.
9. Saved a drowning man.
10. Had an ashtray thrown at me for bad singing on a karaeoke.
Only a few for me (I've probably done tons of stuff you haven't, but this is the most interesting)
1) Held (and made a call on) Louise Redknapp's mobile phone.
2) Met Kate Lawler and Sister.
3) Helped in a charity run by Ross Kemp.
4) Been drunk in the driver's seat of the car owned by the ex-chief of Police in Istanbul.
5) Had a (unloaded) gun pointed at me by the aforementioned ex-chief of Police.
And before you ask, I am friends with his Daughter, and was in Turkey to watch her get married.

These 5 come to mind, i'll post if I can rememeber some more.
1. Was groomed by a barbarry ape
2. Got up on stage at a Bloodhound Gang concert and had my belly baby oiled by a few girls
3. Flown a plane
4. Drag raced a 550hp car down a drag strip
5. Had a chat with Willie Thorne and Dennis Taylor
you aint picked my nose and you certainly have been no where near my nuts :-) concept grasped just fine dude ;)You had to sleep sometime.......:D
Oh, and another.
6) I am friends with someone who wrote a number 1 single in the 70s.

2. Have chatted to the worlds strongest man in the world.
3. Have had some "fun" in the grounds of a famous castle.
4. Been stuck in the lift on the Eiffel tower for nearly an hour.
5. Jumped off the side of a boat into a lake.

7. Cop pointing a loaded gun at your head and telling u afterwards he was ready to shoot u in the head.
8. Overcome 14 years of alcohol,drugs and cigs
9. Sexual act on a driving underground train.
10. Being told by a drunk German Hell's Angel that you're lucky his girlfriend is with him.....
1. Lived in Malta, Cyprus & Kenya before I was 11 years old.
2. Sat in the cockpit of an operational Hawker Hunter jet fighter.
3. Watched cheetahs getting their breakfast of Thomson Gazelle as dawn came up in a Kenya game reserve when 11 years old.
4. Travelled unaccompanied from Kenya to UK via Tripoli when 11 years old.
5. Lived at RAF Mildenhall when the SR71 Blackbird used to take off from there.
6. Saw the original Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green play live.
7. Was a prize bingo caller in a Southend sea front arcade.
8. Stood next to Elvis Costello while taking a pee backstage at the Chalk Farm Roundhouse.
9. Briefly worked for an removal firm that moved Anna Carteret (Juliet Bravo) ..
10. Helped the bloke who took the photos for Ian Dury's 'New Boots & Panties' album do up his house.
Might be a stretch to do 10 but here goes in no particular order.
1 Chased Giraffe on foot through a game reserve
2 Drove along side a stampeding wildebeest heard ( ok we stampeded them )
3 Ran over myself whilst driving ...long ish story
4 Nearly blew my leg off with a 12 bore
5 Nearly shot my leg off with a 38
6 Had a dump in Paul Mersons bog before he did
7 Caught a live Cape Cobra with makeshift tackle
8 Flew in the DeBeers executive jet
9 walked on soil rich with diamonds
10 Drank beers in a Soweto shabeen

Although it was about 6 months after her ABH incident so I kept my eye on her...

No no no, in her case change that to 'a chav' ;)
1)Born In Nigeria.
2)Eaten freshly picked mangoes and fresh picked pineapples like they were apples.
3)When small I shook out my shoes every morning to check for scorpions and other nasties.
4)Watching snake charmers and witchdoctors performing their services while sitting on the handlebars of our cook's bike in the local market.
5)Had a pet chameleon.
6)Tried to dig to China from Nigeria.
7Went out into the bush with my parents where we saw crocodiles,rhinoceros,giraffes,elephants among many other teeming herds.
8)Crossing the Sahara to Morocco and back again.
9)Stroked a cheetah(and secretly wanting to remove the heavy chain around his neck because it seemed so wrong)
10)Slept out under an enormous African moon that seemed to fill the whole sky.
All done before the age of 7.

Nope, I lead a boring life and haven't done anything unique
Does a set of 16 year old identical twins count at all when I was in my early twenties.:D;):)
Watched a cloud waterfall on top of Table Mountain
Had a Markswomen rating at shooting (7.62)
Rode 1000 miles on a motorbike in a day
Flown in many military aircraft including a Tornado (Only though as a pilot in a non-military Grob trainer)
Started up a Motor-racing company
Lived on 3 different continents
Legally done more than 150mph on car and bike in the UK
Had a total stranger die in my arms :(
Been attacked by an Ostrich
Got drunk at the age of three (hid behind the sofa with a bottle of cider)
That's my list.. Not all good though..
Does a set of 16 year old identical twins count at all when I was in my early twenties.:D;):)

I`ve beaten Hodgkins Disease and am still clear of it for almost 23 years. Does that count?
Another 1.. Got a feeling I have put this in one of the other threads as it was a few years back.
Stood in the same room as David Blunkett and laughed at one of his "Jokes". I was stood in the room as one of our students was demonstrating something and I was there in case it went wrong. I had to laugh because I was given the distinct impression by one of his aides that it would be considered rude if I didn't.

Wow well done bud and congratulations. How did you manage to beat it if you dont mind me asking?
Also, have danced with a woman who once choreographed the Royal Variety Performance (along with various TV shows). We were doing one dance at a Christmas party and we were left in the embarrassing position (for me) of being the only couple on the dance floor with everyone surrounding us, clapping in time to the music and watching.

The Technology at the time and Positive thinking . Not so bad to treat nowadays i believe.:)
Got really bad Radiation sickness and burns at the time from the Radiotherapy i remember.:erm:

I haven't got many..
1. Sat in the co-pilots seat of a Vulcan bomber while it was running and pushed the engines to full throttle (brakes on though :()
2. Cruised from LA > Hawaiian Islands > Mexico > LA (not unique but fairly rare :))
3. Been "taken away" by US Border Patrol at LAX with no explanation given.
4. Driven a 4x4 in the Cypriot Troodos Mountains at age 12
5. Been chased by a crazy and very Large Bull through a Farmers Field in Wales whilst on Yr9 Camp.
