Hello everyone,
I thought I'd ask the people in the know. :)
Yesterday around 6pm, the internet cut out very suddenly. Went through the usual routines (reset modem, reset router, try connecting directly to the PC), but nothing worked. I know that it is not a problem with my PC, because my Laptop can't connect either.
Even stranger though, the modem's lights are all as they should be. I logged on and checked the log, giving me these tidbits that I can't quite make sense of -

A software upgrade filename was specified in the config file.
I've spoken to a kind lady over the horn, she said she would try some things on her end, and voila - it worked again. Strangely though, at the end of the conversation, she mentioned that it might go down again, but not why.
The error messages above persist despite it working now.
