Im with VM, and would like to stay as get good internet, however they seem very very expensive especially for there calls & line rental.

When i called up to see if i could get a better offer i was advised i could only get it down to £22 for phone line & internet. and this includes paperless billing.

I know o2 offer £7.50 line rantal & cheap internet - if you factor in Quidco.

Basically I want a better deal from VM, maybe for internet only or maybe for BB & Phone. but they say £22 is the best they can do. Please can anyone offer advise.

Deals please folks????!!!

If Virgin say they can do it for £22, they can do it for £22

BTW for O2 it's not £7.50 all in - it's at least £15.50 a month for both broadband (20GB a month limit) and the line

If you don't want to pay the price Virgin charge, then leave. That's your choice.

your staff, is there not a better deal arround! i know people who pay £15 a month for BB& Phone. I would pay £15 but i think £22 is too high. there BB is ok but phone service is poor & IMHO v expensive.

It amazes me how some people think some things are very very expensive (phone and broadband) at £22 a mth which is less than a pound a day yet will happily spend £2 a day on a latte and not consider that expensive at all.

I am by no means suggesting that the OP drinks a latte everyday but I think you see my point.

I make the choice not to drink latte, the same could be said for the phone line and broadband.

I think the price I pay for my services are reasonable to be honest.

but o2 is £15.50 (and then you can get £50 quidco) so virgin media is over 40% more. I might buy a cup of coffee when im out, but i dont spend £3 - i'm hard up & need to save money - so £7 a month adds up

Looks like o2 is the best option for you.

Then go to O2 its that simple

If you can find a similar set of services cheaper than your current provider, phone them up by all means to see if they'll match or even beat the price.
If they can't/won't, switch to the cheaper one.

It's not rocket science

I think you've answered your own question. I assume that you have identified any up front costs associated with changing suppliers?
