Has VM fallen off the face of the planet?

My modem has lost sync and I can't even get to the VM status page from Orange mobile.

This is coming up in my modem logs:

A reboot or two later and it's fine.

However, since I rebooted my modem the other day to get the increased upload speed config my connection has stopped completely a couple of times and I've had to reboot the router.

I'm in Middlesbrough, TS5 but the speed increase page says that it hasn't been rolled out to Middlesbrough yet and it's not live for my friend on 50MB in Stockton close by (would have thought the same headend).

I'm ts7 and it's fine BUT my pc switched itself off twice earlier on (11:30 ish) and a load of house alarms were going off as well?

just tried accessing VM's status page for cable and it won't load:scratch:

just tried the nthellworld sevice page and that isn't working either:erm:

Maybe a power cut somewhere?

Just watching my power levels, upstream is a constant 45.2dB but my downstream fluctuates from -1.8dB to -2.4dB within a few seconds, anyone know if that's normal or OK?

There was a power cut in ts7 nunthorpe (grey towers area) today. I'm a postie and was delivering round there and a few people told me about it.
