Just a quick ?

Currently on the 50mb package and cant fault it at all, only problem was when i had it installed i had to reinstall windows to activate modem(currently run on linux mint). Anyway when they roll out the 100mb package i will be interested but im guessing a new modem will be involed thus making me install windows once again. I know most of you will think just install windows, but i have not used windows for years and use linux as ease of use for me.

Activating the modem is a browser-based affair. It certainly was when I had my 50 megs installed. I'm not sure what bearing the OS would possibly have on this?! I'm a Linux user too, btw. :D

Changing your modem will be nothing to do with installing windows, and you should be fine to activate the new kit via a normal web browser.

You will get a new modem anyway, engineer should activate it before he leaves.
