TOMTOM site worked fine up until today... none of my PCs on the network can access the site inc. iPad. Turned off all firewall and security settings.. still nothing. Checked from my iPhone over O2 and it worked fine.

Performing a traceroute to the tomtom site bombs out at after one of the virgin boxs..

213.150.153.105 (manc-bb-1a-ae3-0.netowrk.virginmedia.net)

Can anyone else confirm this??

Thanks - Pudders

Mine went through ae2 on the manc routing and not ae3 as in your post

It's doing my nut in!! Can I really be bothered to ring TS to tell them there is a routing problem??

I wonder if it an issue through Baguley.

I'm down here in the South naer Portsmouth and still not working..

My problem is that updating my TOMTOM also does not work through "TOMTOM HOME"

The need to sort this!

Thanks Sirus for the tip... changed the Proxy setting in TOMTOM HOME to webcache.virginmedia.com:3128 and I can now download the updates.

That is the next thing we would recommend trying so good to see that it is working.

Not really!!... Having changed the settings to another server makes it work as detailed already.. this is a work-around not a fix! Virgin needs to PD the problem and check the routing on the box that the traceroute stops at!

Like I said .. I used to be able always access the site and perform updates to my device via the TOMTOM Home software... Two days ago is when it stopped loading the site and connecting to the TOMTOM servers - because of the routing issue. The member "Sirius" provided me the proxy settings that you can change in TOMTOM Home Software to allow me to get the latest updates!

It still needs futher investigation.
