Hi all,

I have a NTL Ambit:200 Modem
20MB (laugh) bb
Running the D-Link wirless router (but connected wired)

Im exp. some slow download speeds, ive not managed to break 10 meg since upgrading i dont think, and average speeds seem to range from 3-5 ish!!

Can anyone help me out?? Tech support are a bunch of idiots on the phone! Not sure if its relevant but my modem has a forward path equilizer on it 4db, but ive tried running it with this on and off.

Here is my statuses.

Downstream Lock :
Locked Downstream Frequency : 586750000 Hz
Downstream Modulation : QAM64
Downstream Interleave Depth : taps12increment17
Downstream Receive Power Level : -7.9 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 22.3 dB

Upstream Channel ID : 6
Upstream Transmit Power Level : 54.50 dBmV
Upstream Symbol Rate : 2560 Ksym/sec
Upstream Frequency : 37488000 Hz
Upstream Mini-Slot Size : 2

Just don't know what the issue could be!! :S

Both your SNR and D/S power are too low and your upstream is pushing on the high side. TS should be able to see that and book an engineer for you.

So the router isnt the issue? That can't affect those figures at all can it?

its a DIR-615 D4 btw

Those levels will in no way be effected by the router. Ring in in the morning if possible just after 8.00 and you stand a chance of a UK agent.
