So all day yesterday the TV and Internet was out in the Walsall area.

Everything is up and running except in not getting the 10MB i pay for anymore.

Heres a Speedtest and Signal. I can post the log if needed.

Thanks

The SNR is rather low and you are using a Motorola modem which may need replacing so a call to technical support is advised.

You do tend to have to wait on forums for someone to spot your post and considering you only waited 30 minutes before you added the comment at the bottom you were being a bit previous.

You should ring 151 from a Virginmedia phoneline or 0845 454 1111 from any other phone.

If you have a cream coloured modem then it should be replaced, what model is it.

The is no need to post a picture as I do know what they look like if you care to check my signature below and under my avatar.:D

I would replace that modem if I spoke to you even though it is capable of 20Mb because of its age.;)

Yeah i read somewhere before it was capable to deliver the speed i was getting so i left it. Should i buy one from PC World or would i get a replacement from virgin media?

Heres me thinking Virgin Media should provide it for me!!!! haha

Only Virginmedia supply cable modems and at all times it remains the property of Virginmedia hence that is why the is no charge for replacement modems or engineer visits.

The SNR is better around 40 if possible yourd is a little low but not to low.

Ignore the messages above as most of what you see is actually disabled on a Virginmedia connection.

The must be an issue somewhere so you will need a technician after all.
