this week i have noticed in the evening like late on after 10pm the upstream power level goes up to 55.5 dbmv but during the day its around 45dbmv-47dbmv just wondering what is causing this? could it be my cable is connected to a faulty tap? or the green cab is getting more power than normal at night? by the way there is already a 6db forward path attenuator on my modem.

Could be down to noise on the network caused by a bit of kit that might be on during the day the turned on at night :)
