Hello, Why am i being disconnected from 3pm to 5pm every day ? I have got 10mb cable connection, i play online gaming from when i get up with no problems then 3pm connection is cut until 5pm then fine again,i have unplugged modem many times/reset modem with no avail until 5pm,this can't be anything to do with my end/i have tryed everything...

As you suggest that this fault is so reproducible, perhaps a call to Faults on 151 at 3pm would get you the answer.

You need to post the Downstream and Upstream power levels and we may then see an issue.

They are within operational parameters so a cal to faults is in order when you lose the connection, do not reboot the modem before calling either.

Call in on 151 from a Virginmedia phone line or 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line.

Upstream is meant to range it is not preset and will lock onto the strongest single and best channel.

Has zero effect on the connection apart from slowing you down, the OP lost connection.;)
