Hi, the tick symbol on my modem started flashing indicating I'd lost connection so I unplugged both the modem and router. I've plugged them both back in and the tick symbol is still flashing, yet I'm connected to the internet again. Has anyone else experienced this?

To clarify the tick symbol is flashing right now and I'm able to use the internet as I would normally. I was under the impression both lights on the right needed to be steady green to indicate a proper connection.

Normally the tick symbol will be steady. On occasion I've seen mine flash and still been able to use the net.

The Ready light should stay solid, it may be a firmware issue but post the Downstream and Upstream power levels as well, please ensure that you do not post the Modem MAC address.

I've been experiencing this over the past couple of days.

No loss of service however.

Downstream's 2.8 dBmV, upstream's 48.5. It's still doing it by the way, after turning the modem and router off and on a few times. Really peculiar, can't say I've ever witnessed this in 4 years of using the service.

Probably a firmware issue and if it is working then do not worry.

Ironically I noticed today I have all but two lights lit on my modem, but the internet is working fine.

Fun fun :P
