Hello all. just a quick question how do i change the Transmission Rate on the d-link router as all i can see is best automatic & nothing else as I'm getting a XBOX 360 WIRELESS N NETWORK ADAPTER & want to get best speed possible.

Click on the 'advanced' tab at the top of the options page. Then choose 'advanced wireless' on the left hand side of the page. You will see a 'wireless mode' option.

You can choose mixed or 'n' only here. I just bought a 360 'n' adapter myself. Just plug it in and enter you password, and away you go.

Should get adapter by Saturday so will give it a go when i get it, did you use disc that came with adapter as some people say install it & others say dont install it.

If you have connected to xbox live after 28th October 2009, then you don't need to install the supplied software as an xbox live update which supported wireless N was installed automatically.

Thanks for that only got my Xbox 360 this Saturday gone, so is it just a matter of pluging it in back off Xbox while its off & then just turn on & that should be me set up.
