Can anyone on a VM connection access Servage's control panel webpage at
https://secure.servage.net/cplogin ?
It should present you with a login page and captcha.
OR even the webmail at https://secure.servage.net/webmail ?
My email/ftp and access to their login/s are all down. Servage tell me there's no faults and I can access them on my O2 phone.
I'm not relishing the thought of trying to explain this on the phone and going through modem/router reboots.
http://www.servage.net is fine, it's just the https that seems to be a problem. Oh, and POP/SMTP..
Could my IP address be being blocked?

Works fine here, you're not using a proxy/webcache are you

Wow.
Summat bonkers afoot then. FF & IE both timing out, but email being out as well is puzzling..
I'm going to force an IP change and see what happens.

I was Kymmy (always am) - but tried default many times too.
That wouldn't explain POP/SMTP though.

Gotta be a routing issue then (or you have a nasty little redirect on your PC)

That's exactly what I thought, but iPhone wasn't connecting over wirless either.

Now, I've just spoke with Servage again and asked them please to check for blocked IP's on their mail servers etc and they said no, nothing wrong there either then pop - I'm back in and all my day's email has arrived.
Happy ending, but has left me baffled still!
K+ t you all for the help.

Thanks. I'm thinking it might have been Google's DNS and maybe when I changed over back to VM's it took a bit of time to flush?
Anyway - panic over. Problem shared n' all that :)

If it happens again try changing the DNS, close the web browser then on the command prompt (assuming windows 2000 or newer)

IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

then try again
