Looking at the Virgin news groups forums it seems the 50mb platform has massive problems related to the motorola kit.
I get several disconnects a day and been having them for the last six months. Luckily I've got two isp's one that's reliable ukonline and what that's unreliable Virgin. The router switches over so a lot of the time I miss the disconnect unless I'm gaming which of course means I get chucked off.
Considering how long this has been going on should Virgin still be taking people on the service before they actually fix it or should they reduce the rate for customers for a 2nd rate service.

I will let you know if i get any issues, i get it installed on tuesday. It could be a problem near your area rather than a core network issue (which i highly doubt).

Loads of people with the same problem so it's not just me. Looking at the number of posts it's either getting worse or the number of failed fixes is cluttering up the forum.
