File Hosting sites till blocked

Rapidshare and Megaupload are working

the following are still blocked

Mediafire.com
sharebee.com
zshare.net
badongo.com
hotfile.com
depositfile.com

This is a joke. How can it be a glitch that mysteriously affects filehosting sites only. Seems to me virginmedia are planning to block these for good soon.

Only one there not working for me is depositfile.com.

Lucky you hasnt been working for me all over the weekend. What next flickr. The thing is because no one was informed I started messing with all my settings thinking it was a firewall issue. Turning off popup blockers and ad filters as well.

I can't access any of these sites either if I put the www. at the beginning, but they work if I miss it out and put eg http://mediafire.com instead of www.mediafire.com

Murfit ill give it a try. Its a temporary fix but not a solution

If www isn't working but the root domain is then it's gotta be a DNS error.. Try either open DNS or use the root doamin DNS in your hosts file, either one will confirm if it's a DNS issue

if VM are blocking sites such as the above, use openDNS instead. None of the above are blocked for me.

VM aren't blocking those sites, they can't be as everyone on the VM network would be affected.
