News is that NBC has cancelled Heroes (and Law & Order), but will wrap up the story with a movie length episode.
http://socialmediaseo.net/2010/05/14/heroes-cancelled-nbc-cancels-law-order-axes-another-good-tv-show/
Not yet watched the last series of Heroes, I thought it got a bit too long winded...
Shame about L&O.. Hopefully it won't be L&O:SVU which is the best though I'd rather see L&O:CI go than the original especially after L&O:CI removed Goren/Eames and replaced them with Nichols/Burrows

The first series was good, the second one was terrible and that's when I stopped watching.

I don't like the current series of Heroes, but I watch it (like LOST) waiting for an answer.
Can I suggest to the OP (stubborn git she is) that we should perhaps change the title to be a more general Cancelled/returning 2010 thread????
Just a thought..

Go ahead.:D
I'd much rather have Flashforward return than V... Heroes deserves a proper send off a least, so it's good to see them doing that.

Sorry no exact date but the next episode is scheduled to air in the US on 7th June so any time after that.
I must admit the wait has been abnormally long for a mid-season break and has been so annoying as its a great show.

Hayley Mills confirmed during a TV interview that Wild at Heart will return next year for a sixth series and that she and the cast are due to fly out to location in the summer. It has also been revealed that the next series will see the return of Lucy-Jo Hudson and Martinus Van Deburg who will reprise their roles of married couple - Rosie and Max Gifthold. It is believed that they will return before the special '50th' episode of the show.

Adrian Monk is a highly gifted detective whose career is jeopardised by his overwhelming fear of germs, crowds, small places, and almost everything else...(although he's making progress on milk). Monk's disorder was triggered by the murder of his beloved wife, Trudy, which continues to haunt him as the only unsolved mystery in his career. Ordered to take a leave of absence from the police department, Monk hires Sharona, a nurse who helps him try to get reinstated on the force, and in the process, becomes an unlikely "Dr. Watson" to his "Sherlock Holmes." When the police department find themselves unable to crack a high-profile case, they have no choice but to bring back the only man for the job...phobias and all. Genre: Crime

anybody notice a trend with canning its generally SCIFI based stuff which these tv bosses kick in the teeth.:td:
Yet soaps, hospital, detective shows even if there numbers poor get to keep going. Then there the trash tv fillers of reality trash which they bombard us with.
Outlaw wasnt Sci-Fi, or Lone Star which has also got the axe.

The problem with Sci Fi (and comedy, actually) is that it can cost a lot of money to do well. As such, it needs a lot of viewers before the TV company will see a profit.
The other sorts of shows don't, generally, cost a lot to make, so they can get away with fewer viewers.

Caprica is dead...
http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/10/27/breaking-syfy-cancels-caprica/
Caprica is toast. Syfy has announced that the Battlestar Galactica prequel has been canceled.
“The remaining first run episodes of Caprica – airing Tuesdays at 10/9c – will be removed from the schedule as of next Tuesday, November 2,” said the network in a statement. “These final five episodes of the season will be re-scheduled to air at a to be announced time in the first quarter of 2011, and will conclude the run of the series.”
“We appreciate all the support that fans have shown for ‘Caprica’ and are very proud of the producers, cast, writers and the rest of the amazing team that has been committed to this fine series,“ said Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Syfy and Co-Head of Content for Universal Cable Productions. “Unfortunately, despite its obvious quality, ‘Caprica’ has not been able to build the audience necessary to justify a second season.”
Undercovers has been cancelled. The last episode will air on December 1st.

Already cancelled, but yet to be fully broadcast:
Syfy US will be burning off the final five "Caprica" episodes on the 4th of January.
http://www.airlockalpha.com/node/8062/final-caprica-episodes-will-air-in-single-day.html
No word yet on when it'll be shown in the UK.
Not yet cancelled, but more & more likely to be:
NBC's "The Event" will be taking a THREE MONTH HIATUS after the broadcast of episode 10 on the 29th of November. A clip-show will be shown on the 28th of February, and the series-proper will resume on the 7th of March with episode 11.
In case that feels familiar, it's basically what ABC did with "FlashForward", last season's attempt at creating "a new Lost".
And, like "FlashForward" before it, "The Event" has been haemorrhaging viewers week after week after week.
The ratings stink (worse than FF's!), and having a three-month hiatus, no matter how much the series is "re-worked" will not help it. "Genre"/"Cult" shows simply do not benefit from enormous mid-season breaks...especially shows which have a strong story-arc & require you to watch it every week...
I predict that "The Event" will be cancelled during the second half of the season.
