telford area tf7 and tf1 had a very serious outage since 2 days ago and nothing was fixed, i called up virgin tech, they say it will be fixed by 5th may and was aware of the problem. keep getting disconnection and had to reset modem every 10 mins all day. it really annoying. virgin only refund me £2.50 for no service until 5th may is a joke.

SNR issues causing slow speeds and disconnections.

It should have been on the Outage page.

Without being funny a lot of the ubr's in Telford are bogged and noise on a lot of the cabs around here is common (you only have to see the state of some of them to know why, doors held closed with brown packing tape etc etc).

TelfordCable... you wouldn't be on ubr11 by any chance...

Both Telford Outages have the 17/4/10 as their estimated end time, and at present the are just the 2.

It's an unusual fault, with intermittent service... the fix time is a guide / target SLA.

Do you have total loss? If so then you are not part of this issue. This issue is with intermittent loss only.

UBR11, Telford TF3

Currently an issue with DHCP not renewing IP leases... my modem went offline about an hour ago and won't come back.

Last time this happened a few weeks it affected other Midlands customers, I was lead to believe the DHCP server is at the headend not at the UBR - is anyone else in the Mids having trouble pulling an IP from the network??

If you are getting more than you are paying for why complain. Think of it as "compensation" for your purported previous outages.

Talking of which Mr Telford Cable which CMTS are you on in Telford, what does the 'connection' tab at the top say, minus the customer number of course.
