OK I'll bite-20Mbps in a highly utilised area. As said above what's the point of this?

Just feel like we are paying over the odds for what is now the entry level BB.

Don't the 10mb L customers get bigger download allowances and the like than the upgraded 10mb M customers though?

Yes :D

Then what is the difference and how is it calculated (amount of limit for both M/L & L/L)?

Try telling that people in non-cabled areas who are a few miles from the exchange ;) They'd kill for your price/speed ;)

This is a bit of an ambiguous thread so I can see why the more techy guys (Igni, Seph et al) are leaving it alone.

A snapshot of speeds in the middle of evening peak periiods with no info as to if it exists 24/7.

The OP has been a site member for 5 yrs so knows the score otherwise would be asking for help.

Not biting any more:angel::angel::angel:

We pay £72.00 total. (no complaints whatsoever about TV & phone charges). It just seems that with the entry level at £12.50 pcm for 10mb broadband, what we actually get is not worth twice as much at £25.00 pcm.

As hubby is the bill payer and loath to complain I really need good ammunition to get him to do anything (if this is at all worth it).

Shouldn't you be paying £47.49 for L BB, XL TV and M Phone, or have you got extras such as Sky Sports?

The only extra is talk anywhere 200 @ + £9.00 hence the query about charges. TV £23.00 line rental £11.00 less of course the £1.00 for paperless billing.

:blush: Missed the payment handling charge of £5.00

So total should be £67.00 without the handling charge.
