For the last month or so I've been getting this:
http://www.pingtest.net/result/13292362.png (http://www.pingtest.net)

and this:

https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/local/2010/03/14.png

VM sent me a new modem, to no effect. Support has promised to call me back, has not done so. Forum support has advised I have a overloaded UBR, with no suggestion as what might be done about it. Today the Virgin Forum has disappeared, 3 days after opening as an offical support site. Lack of a BT landline means changing to BT/SKY will be expensive - any other suggestions?

Well yes - it looks like a complete bottleneck at your UBR especially if VM support tells you this.

When will they sort it out? At their leisure I'm afraid - it costs seriousmoney to add UBRs. If they didn't say it was with their plannning team, even longer.

Dunno what this is about the VM forum - it's still there!

Hi Sephiroth,

thanks very much for the confirmation.

I suppose it is a case of getting t moved to another UBR, or I'm an ex-Telewest/Blueyonder/Virgin customer

I think the VM forum is just that I get a time out before I get there so get a generic error message in my browser. I can see it from work.

Speed has been low all day, then at 6:30 it sprang into life and I now have 9.8 Mb/s and 25ms ping.

Maybe they plugged me back in at their end?
