Looks nice, I really like the turquoise, it sets the whole page off.

What fault do you have if any?

Well mainly in the evening the upstream power level is going up to 52.5 dbmv and the other evening the cable light on the modem was flashing then it came back on, I think I need to be put on a different tap in the cabinet myself.

Downstream power is too high at 7.2. It should be +/- 5dBmV maximum. It will cause occasional drop outs if it changes much.

I do have a few attenuators hanging about should I try one?

The cfg pages look well good .

You can try but it might push the upstream too high too.

The thread title makes me think "does my cable modem look big in this" hahahah

+7.2 is fine.

Other than that the font is nice, the colour scheme is ok, it has all the required details in a fairly easy to read format.

The only real criticism is that there is a small mistake there, it's giving your upstream bit rate as the symbol rate which isn't correct but I'm sure that's just cosmetic.

Getting concerned over a single loss of connection is pointless, micro-monitoring the power levels is pointless. So long as all seems ok no worries. I do monitor my own cable modem but the only time I check it out is when something fairly major happens, a couple of dB variation is expected.

Do these results look better? a technician put on a 6db attenuator

Thee is nothing wrong with your power levels whatsoever they are well within normal operational parameters for your service, if it was 58 or 61 then the would be an issue.

Indeed. My download PL bounces between +7.2dBmV and 9.8dBmV, my upsteam PL is usually 52.0dBmV. DS SNR between 37-39.

Less than ideal, but I get full punt from speed tests and "A" rating on ping tests. And since the power increase, it seems to have reigned in that annoying Moto BSR hiccup :tu:

your power levels are fine but since your upstream is flucnation a lot i would report it and as to get a tech out to look at it and possible mov ethe tap for oyu but the power levels even when flucation are pretty dam good

They are fine and I rather doubt anyone would send out an engineer as it would be a wasted truckroll.:)
