View Full Version : slope and signal levels do u understand them?
Hi all this is my first thread and am in need of some advice. iv just started working for virgin and enjoyin it but i cant seem to get the hang of signal levels and the slope icant get my head round it can any1 explain them to me? thanks

I have also just started my trainging but with kelly instead of actuall virgin i would also love some info on slope and levels i know the basic of -10+- dBmV threshold and so on but if anyone has more info it would be greatly apprechiated cheers :)
What area will you be working in? As in part of the country.

well all i can say is we all have to start some where!!!!!! i only want to try and do the job right thats why im askin there must be loads of engineers on here that could clear the signal levels and slope thing up for me and others to make us better techs but few are willing to help thanks to those who pm me tryin to help lol;:):):)
