View Full Version : conecting my ps3 to pc for internet access

i have a ps3 and pc the ps3 was able to connect to the inter net via the tower a few months ago (we're using a 3g dongle) and was working but since upgrading to windows 7 the ps3 wont connect back up to the internet via the tower can anybody help me with this problem???

You really need a proper internet connection with a router. How did you have it connected before you upgraded windows?

replace wii with other device ps3 in your case oc.

You really need a proper internet connection with a router. How did you have it connected before you upgraded windows?

Need NO, Easier Perhaps and you dont need to keep your main ICS PC with two ethernet connections operating all the time as your router has taken the ICS PCs place OC.

seeing as you put your pedantic hat on ill wear mine lol In this case there is no need for 2 ethernet connections as the OP has a 3G dongle as outlined in post 1 ;)

ohhh K, :) two connections preferably IP based on both , as in this case...., a virtual serial 3G IP connection, and presumably an ethernet OR wireless IP connection to the second LAN device.

OC Zing, that virtual serial 3G is faster than the old serial to serial dialup crossover cable we used to use to connect a second device, our amiga2000 serial to win95 ICS, Now them was the days, AND it worked great.
