Just watched the first ep of this and was surprised how good it was, im not usually into musical shows/films but this is good, heres a run down on what the show is about...
It's a musical comedy. The series follows an optimistic teacher, Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), who, against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach, attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.
Thursdays at 9pm on E4, its worth a watch :D

I watched the pilot when they showed it before Christmas, both the missus and I were also surprised how much we enjoyed it, didn't think it was our cup of tea, but know some ppl who watch it "by other means" who rate it highly.

Their covers of classic tracks are atrociously bad.
Their covers of classic tracks are atrociously bad.
Dunno I prefer their cover of 'don't stop believin' to the original.
Still loving the show even if the GF is now convinced I'm gay. :erm:

The girl shouts on that track and the no need, the guitar riff is the only part that is any good and as for their cover of Queen's "somebody to love" its in the same league as Dedwood from X Factor.:erm:

I would not be telling the guys down the nick either about liking the show.:p:

Sue Sylvester the cheerleader coach cracks me up with her one liners lol
i will go to the animal shelter, and get you a kitty kat, i will let you fall in love with that kitty kat, then on some dark cold night i will steal away into your home, and punch you in the face
I would have kids, but I don't have the time...or the uterus

I wait for the hi def version on Ch4. That seems to be shown Sunday afternoons, so it gets V+'d.
Ah I see. Looks like VM are gonna get E4HD 3 days after the final episode before the mid-season break as well :(
I'm worried
I'm starting to sing along with some of the songs...I think I've been in my flat alone for too long
Probably worse, my neighbours haven't complained..I'm probably now being called the strange guy who sings at night
I guess it is a step up from just being the strange guy :)

I'm just watching the Madonna episode and omg its probably the funniest yet, Sue deserves a Bafta!
Sue: "Oh, hey William. I thought I smelled cookies wafting from the ovens from the little elves who live in your hair.""
haha, i could listen to this legend all day long.

Sooooooo funny.
Best line re Adam Lambert - "Don't get me wrong - I'll listen to your music; I'll even hum it under my breath as I head into the voting booth the next time a State Government offers me the chance to deny you your basic rights"

What did everyone think of last episode on Monday?.
I totally didn't expect Sue to give the Glee club back for another year, but then again she would be miserable if she couldn't insult Will's hair.
Sue: "I've seen that car you drive... I don't want to catch poor." haha.

I thought it was a great end.
It would have been a bit too much for them to have won the contest, & I think it was very good the way they ended up getting a reprieve. Sue has a heart after all!
