Hello

I have had my installation for Years. I am in St. Albans, Herts AL3

Since Yesterday 1/1/10 I lose connections. This happens after about 1200

My TV loses it return path. It is a Samsung SMT-2110C. It says return path is off with a IP of 0.0.0.0. The I.P is usally 10.43.***.**. The Dot above the Channel number flashes

My Modem, a NTL 250 has power, enet, sync lights on but the Ready light is flashing and then i can not get internet access

I have booked a engineer for Wed 6/1/10 but i personaly will not be present, but my Mum will be.

Is there anything else my mum should be telling the enginner when he arrives

I presume there is nothing I can do.

Sorry if posted in wrong forum topic

yeah, wrong area, but it sounds like a return path issue and the tech will be able to restore service when he calls. May end up being a very small area fault, in which case the service will be restored without a tech calling to your home. You should get a text or call to advise if this is the case.

Ring tech support or a member of staff here will be able to confirm.

You can either phone in again and see if you are part of the issue or wait to see if that ticket is closed and your issue has been resolved. I'm not in work so can't check to see if you are indeed part of the issue.

Yes. This is all sorted

At 1545 On Sunday 3/01/10, I still have all my services as they should be.

I have had (All day Sunday) NO return path problems on my TV or Modem

I have cancelled the engineer visit for this Wednesday 6/1/10.

Thanks again for your help
