Have a very slow speed right now and i was only browsing a few pages (facebook, msn etc..) in the last few hours with a bit of online gaming
CS said traffic managed

Modem - Scientific Atlanta DPX100
Downstream Channel
The data shown in the table below provides information about the signal coming from the network to your cable modem.

Modulation
QAM256
Bit Rate
10242000 bps
Power Level
-1.52 dBmV
Signal to Noise Ratio
35 dB

Upstream Frequency
22200000 Hz
Bit Rate
514000 bps
Power Level

Any reasons?
And btw i thought upstream freq should be like 331100000

I'm not being much help with this response, just making a point...
I was with VM until about September, on 10mb's and the fastest I recorded was about 12. I'm now with BT on a 7mb and the above speeds are very common, even during busy hours.
I Guess fibre optic isn't all it's hyped up to be?

What is your downstream frequency?

If your thinking the downstream frequency is off mags, then this will reset it.
