Sync Flashing Light

Hi ,i'm new to this forum but experienced with computers but have a problem with my modem.

On Sunday I turned off the PC normally alonng with the router and modem.

The next day I couldnt connect to the internet and there is definetely no problem with the router.

The Virgin Media Modem has 6 Lights

Power ON
enet ON
Send NO LIGHT
Recv NO LIGHT
Sync FLASHING
Ready NO LIGHT


I haven't tampered with anything and even trie a direct LAN from modem to computer and that doesn''t work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated,


I have checked the ethernet wire and all is plugged in and fine.

Hi sheddey, your modem is trying to connect to the Virgin network but is unable to for some reason. You can try unplugging and reconnecting all cables making sure the cable connection is screwed in nice and tight, but if that doesn't fix it then there's nothing really that you can do apart from ring it in.

Thanks guys, Although it turned out to be a fualty cable thanks for the help anyway. Faulty splitter thingy.
