Hi,
I am new to the forum and not much of a techie.
I have recently moved to a new house and Virgin could not offer me cable services so I opted for the Virgin National Service of Broadband internet through the phone line.
Ever since I have had this the internet connection drops quite regularly, the problem is that it does lots of random things like just rebooting itself but the most common is that the connection drops on the PC and say theres no connection when trying to load a webpage, the strange thing is that all the lights stay green on the Router and it appears to have connection but doesn't.
I have spoke to virgin about this and they haven't been much help and just tell me to try a different computer/laptop etc and it still does the same thing.
I have a D-Link DSL 2640R Router.
My computer cannot connect via wireless so it is a wired connection.
Any help or advice would be good.
