It's been stop/start and dead slow since this morning.

Anyone else getting similar?

VM's site says no problems at this time.

Are the power levels OK if so you need to call Tech Support which is open 24/7 on 151 from your Virgin Media Phone.

It's absolutely free.

Or call 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line.

Power levels were OK. Couldn't get through on 151.

Hmmm....... got up this morning and all is back to normal speed!

About 50 yards from here a main underground power cable blew Saturday morning. White van contractors have been there ever since doing repairs using a mini-digger. Holes all over the place in the pavement.

I just walked past and the electricty cable repair joint is right next to the smashed conduit carrying the VM cables... smashed in several places with VM cables dangling.

They're putting all the cables inside lengths of split conduit now.

I wonder if VM knows about this? And could this have caused the problem... there waere a lot of sparks over a few hours I understand.
