I have just had Virgin installed and wanted to know if they do a speed test that i can check my speed?
Also im on the 10MB with them and am thinking about getting the 20MB so would it really be worth it or will the speed not be any faster?
Use this link as it comes will full instructions and upgrading to 20Mb should virtually double your speed, its your choice.

As Moldova says it will double your speed, but whether you need it and whether it'll double the speed of what you do is another matter.
If you just web browse and email then there's not much point and although websites will come ina b it faster you won't really notice it much
If you download vids/newsgroups/P2P then it may/may not make a difference as your download speed is only as fast as the slowest link in the chain..

... and to add to the story, at peak times, 20 Mbps is unlikely to work faster than 10 Mbps. So if you're gonna do your stuff in the evenings, then you can save a few squids by staying on 10 Mbps.

In most areas 20Mbps works fine during peak times as it's been migrated to the uncongested overlay network, just to add some balance :)
Yeh, used to get about 16Mb at peak times, sometimes got better.

Not in my area. Of an evening, I might as well be on 10 Mbps; during the day, when I really need the internet, I see higher than 10 M speeds.
