Today on the newsgroups i recieved this message...

I can confirm that problem F001089743 has now been resolved.

This is todo with the BSR Ready light issue some of us in Swansea have been having. This was posted at 14:15 today. I came home at just after 7pm and i had the same problems and i had to try twice to get my modem to lock on cos the ready light wouldnt stop flashing and DHCP wasnt assigning an IP.

I have notified Virgin of this on the newsgroups, do u think they will reopen the ticket?
