Will you be using it for wireless and if you are, do you already have a wireless adaptor or will you be using the one supplied by virgin.

The new laptop will probably already have wireless ,if the desktop hasnt and you have to use a wireless adaptor best to look online and see if there are any updated drivers are for W7.

im on win7 pre release and i cant get the, supplied, wireless adapter to work even downloaded vista 64bit driver and they didnt work either.

The engineer said it was probably win7 and that it might be better on XP, that i have duel boot, no difference in speed on either both are great.

I still havent tried wireless on Win xp it will probly work a treat ;)

I tried both files in the link above, using windows 7 build 7100, and they didn't work for me, maybe i did something wrong (?), using the supplied wireless n adapter.

I guess i'll stick to cable. I tried wireless to see if i could get it to work for my daughters laptop just in case you were wondering. ;)
