Just wondering, I've had a look around and can't seem to find info on their site nor on these forums. I was on their cable service in my old place but now use the ADSL, so I'm wondering how much I can download before I get throttled?

They cap it based on hourly limits and those limits appear to vary, they nail the top 5% of customers so there's no real set limit there :(

They also do various other unpleasantness as per the link above - ta Ben.

Wall of text woooosh.

So I can't download much per day then? Looks like I will be off elsewhere before the 30 days is passed.

Just a caveat to that - O2 are only good if you can get their unbundled services. If they offer you the O2 Access product run away, quickly.

You need a BT line for Virgin ADSL anyway. BT Line http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayCategory.do?categoryId=CON-HOME-PHN-R1&s_intcid=con_intban_overview_calls_home

So, do Virgin pay BT then since it says that the customer no longer does?

OK, you need an 'Openreach' line not a VM Cable line then, either way I just call it a BT line.
