View Full Version : Please Help With 50meg Connection

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the shameful first post asking for help but I'm at alittle bit of a loss.

I've had the 50meg cable broadband through Virgin for 2months now. Haven't had a problem untill now and sods law I urgently need a connection for the weekend.

I lost my broadband late Wednesday night and haven't been able to reconnect. I noticed the below status ticket and figured it was just out for my area.

However as they hadn't updated the ticket since last night I phoned up their technical support who have said there are no issues in my area and that they would have to send an engineer Monday. At the risk of sounding impatient I can't really wait that long.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of anything thats worth trying? I've tried unplugging the VM modem but not all the status lights hold steady when it comes back up.
