virgin guy said do a test on gamefiles.virginmedia.com
all im getting is 4mb 1 file 4 meg / or 2 files 2 meg each .

pc went down so was in shop.

are levels right any one help plz.

If the PC and the modem don't match for ethernet speed and duplex that may well cause you some problems.

Power levels downstream are a bit high, can't see levels for upstream but likely not a major problem.

Ensure that the modem and PC are both set to autonegotiate and try again then. You cannot have one hard set and one set to autonegotiate as it may not work. If still poor contact Virgin as your downstream power levels are possibly too high. Resolving this is a pretty quick job.

You should be expecting speeds of about 6MB/s (MegaBytes per second) furing download tests when you add the files together.

just found a 3db dropper from last modem which he left on cable (( old cable wire as renewed ))

as to downloads as woke up on the

speedtest.net 50.57mb.s uploads 1.65

looks ok now thanks for help.
