50Mb/s ordered but can't make sense of the price

Hi, I am currently waiting for my 50Mb/s to be installed.

When it's done I will be charged

£11 for telephone line rental
£3.45 for Talk evening & Weekend (I had to upgrade the phone to this to get a discount, I was told)
£2 caller display
£5 V+ Box
£52 for XXL BB 50mb/s
minus £17 "Phone, BBAND XL & TV DISC"

That comes to £56.45

I'm getting TV too but it's only M and appears to be free when you have a VM phone line.

On the VM website when I make up my own bundle BB XXL, TV M+ and Phone M with the extra for the V+ box only comes to £38.50, that's nearly £16 less if you add on the caller display we have.

Is £38.50 what I should be paying?

After reading all the stories here I'm wondering if the 50Mb/s is going to be any better than 20Mb/s

It will actually be £8 less than that as the XXL charge is now £45 before discounts - so will be £49.45

Plus £11 line rental so would be £49.50

which is £5.50 more than you will be paying (the cost of M+)

Is £38.50 what I should be paying?No you will paying £49.45 which is correct.

You can get rid of Talk Evenings and Weekends after a month of installation if you want

Yup just as it says below most of the prices:
