Only if your bandwidth use exceeds your allowance and your connection get throttled.
Cable and ADSL services differ so which are you enquiring about.
Which cable package are you on, they all have different speeds and different throttle levels/allowances
Unless you;re on S or M I doubt if youtube would put you over the limits and even then you;d have to be watching HQ youtube constantly on the M package
Here's the relevant limits

Use something like DUmeter (link at the bottom of that page) to see how much you're uploading/downloading

Okay i've downloaded and installed DUmeter what now
Read the help file that comes with DUMeter..
Quite simply DUMETER will tell you how much you've uploaded and downloaded. If you start it at the times when traffic management kicks in you'll be able to see if you;re approaching your limits
Okay
todays:
incoming traffic:21.9mb
outgoing trffic:728.2KB
both directions: 22.6mb
Well try it whilst downloading your usual youtube vids, run it solidly for a few days for a few hours and then you can work out based on time spent and megabytes downloaded you'll get a rough average of how much youtube is downloading per hour, you can then use that figure to tell you the answer to your first post in this thread.
If though you want a simple way of doing it then just download youtube to your hearts content, if your download drops suddenly to 2.5Mbps then you've gone over the limit ;)
i dunno get it when it drops to 2.5mbps why have i got over the limit it starts from 250mb tho
