I came off the phone this morning after spending 55minutes on the phone being asked 3times my name/address/telephone number. There is no help yet I do a speedtest.net and I get 1.2mbs and .21up. I have been with them for age's about 7year's but I have to change if this does not get fixed and soon. It cost me £5 in telephone charges for an hour and they just leave you on hold all day.

Post what modem you have and your power levels from your config pages of your modem. The should be a sticker on the bottom saying what model.

Ring tech support on 151 from a Virgin phone or 0845 454 1111 from another phone so they can send a signal to your modem. You might also want to consider phoning retentions for a refund for all the time getting the wrong broadband speed.

You will need to speak to Tech Support and probably Customer Services if you are sure that you are paying for 20Mb check your bill first for XL broadband at £37 before discounts..

Tech Support is open 24/7 on the numbers below.

For help with your TV or Phone and for Broadband Technical Support:

Call Product Support/Faults on 151 from your Virgin Media Phone. It's absolutely free.

Or call 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line.

You beat me to the draw Ben.:D

Yes and a phone call should sort it out for him.
