PC Guard 8 Issues with Steam

Since PC guard was upgraded to v8, steam games do not work correctly. The server browser list is not populated unless the firewall is off. If you switch it back on after this you cannot connect to servers. The only way to access steam games online is with the firewall off.

Have tried deleting all access rules and llowing PC guard to create them automaically and also manually add rules and still no joy.

Has anyone else had these problems ?

And does anyone have a solution.

Get rid of pcguard and use avast for your virus protection. If behind a router you should be firewalled anyway so dont really need a separate software firewall. However if you want extra protection, there are plenty of free firewall softwares out there
