how many ds's

hi people, when i read these threads for 50meg broadband i notice that on the downstream page on modem everyone has ds-1,ds-2,ds-3,ds-4 all with figures etc. on mine ds-4 is n/a, is this right? my broadband works fine and i generally get 45meg ish.

It depends on the area you are in as some people are on Motorola BSR's which use 4 downstreams and other people are on Cisco 10000 uBR's which use 3 downstreams.

You still get 50Mb but with different kit.
