Hi guys.
Did the self install today (phone, bb, tv) and it didn't work. Ld20 error on box and no ready light on the modem. Got a few signals sent and ended up getting a engineer booked for Tuesday.
The thing is, there's an old cablenet box on the wall which we've been trying to connect to. Last girl who rented here had virgin tv too (left behind her v box) and the cable I put in the back of my freeview comes from there and it works fine. Why would this work and the cable tv not? If it's a rooftop aerial then why would it come from a cable box? Also there's only a screw connection coming from the FM side of the box, is it possible the box needs updated?
Hopefully it's fixable in any case, bummer missing out on sky sports on the first weekend of the season.
