Hello - I wonder if anyone here can help with this, because I can't get through to Virgin at the moment.
I installed the V+ box myself and I've got picture but no sound. I can change channels using the buttons on the box, but the remote isn't working.
It can't be that the batteries are dead because the light on the remote flashes whenever I press its buttons. It doesn't have any effect on the box at all - no light flashes and the standby light is unchanged.
Am I missing something I need to do to sync the remote to the box?

I just got through to Virgin and they're going to send me another remote, so I suppose it's just the remote that's faulty. Going to have to wait a week for it, so it's back to the silent age until then.
