Hi Everyone

I've just realised that my IP adress has changed, it used to start with 92. but is now 94.

Will this cause any problems for websites that used my old IP address?

Strange, I noticed that the speed has increased by 2/4MB, because I'm on 20MB but often only got 11MB, and now receiving 14 or a bit higher.

Area is Telford btw

Thanks
Jordan

The change in IP address won't cause you problems with any of the sites you regularly visit, the only exception would be where those sites were initiating contact with you rather than the other way around.

Thanks for the heads up on that :)
Nothing to worry about then I guess.

Shouldn't be, unless you're running your own servers or anything like that.

Which I'm guessing you aren't :)

Virginmedia IP's are Dynamic so can change at any time especially after a reboot or if you turn the modem off at night, the is every chance that next time you do either of the above that your 92 IP may return.

Unless he's retuned to a 10k or BSR ;)
Which is likely since he's a 20Mbit sub.
