Has there been an annoucement yet as to whats happening with 20 Meg once 50 Meg price has dropped to £37 if not taken with a Virgin Phone Line?

Ive been looking through the forums but cant see anything...

I was hoping to get 50 meg but not sure if Ill be in the same house in 12 months time, if I upgraded to 50 meg do I have to take out another 12 month contract?

Cheers!

not sure myself what is happening with the 20meg service, but yes if you upgraded you are stuck on another 12 month contract :(

So if I move before the 12 months and virgin don't supply cable there, would I have to pay the remaining contract outright?

Thanks!

Yep or you can have Virgin National at your new property and you won't have to pay for disconnecting early.

Plus 20Mb isn't changing in price for the stand alone product or bundled products

I want to know what will be happening to the 10 Meg as it seems rediculious to be offering 20 Meg on there ADSL service for less money than the 10 Meg on the cable service. May as well just rent the BT line off Virgin and swop over.

You don't need to rent the line off BT anymore AFAIK. Virgin now offer the line rental

I was aware of them offering line rental now. My contention is I have a BT line but Virgin are charging me more for 10 Meg than they are offering 20 Meg over my BT line. I have both a BT line and cable line and phone. It just seems silly that if I can cancelled my cable service and bought the adsl service I would get twice the speed for less money than the cable service.
