Im pondering whether or not to upgrade to 50MB, im currently using 20MB and the speeds are pretty consistent and the price is OK too.

One thing that i dont like is the 768kbp upload speed, for transferring media files and online gaming it just doesn't cut it that well. The 50MB 1.5 upload speed, and the September price drop are very appealing.

I just wanted to know if anyone who upgraded from 20-50MB are happy? Are the speeds as consistent as they were on your previous package?

I'll be choosing this or settling with o2s 20MB which offers 2.5mb upload speeds, 2 months free and a good saving from virgin.

When I was on 20mbit I was quite frequently only getting 13mbit sometimes dropping to 9mbit. Then I upgraded to 50mbit and have been getting a solid 50mbit ALL the time with no drop in speed what so ever. I have had 50mbit for about a month or so now and it has been rock solid. I would strongly recommend it. :)

I was on 20 before and got consistant speeds, now on 50 - still on the consistant speeds. The upload still isn't great, but Virgin are trialing upto 10mb upload speeds so there may be a boost.

upgraded from 20mb to 50mb not too long ago and its fantastic. Speed of an evening on 20mb were poor, also youtube was terrible, but nowdays for me so far on 50mb is excellent!
...and i can press the "Watch in HD" on youtube without fear of waiting ages for it too load up first :D

upload speed is much better, however i still feel it can be vastly improved, what happened to the talk of virgin trialing 10meg upload?

Best thing I ever done was upgrading to 50Mb :)
I just hope once everyone else jumps onboard the level of service i receive doesnt deteriorate.
