Hi there!

I have had Virgin installed into my property in Walsall. They placed a new cable from the cabinet to my house as there was no cable before and i have only suscribed to the 50mb broadband service.
Using different speed test websites my speeds range from 49mb to 12mb (average being 15mb) Im connected using the ethernet cable via the Netgear supplied router.

The downstream levels are to high,( they are about 20dB they should be around 0dB) and the upstream levels are not high enough,( need to be between 35 and 50dB ideally) needs a Tech out to correct the installation problems.

one more question.
Is the download light on the modem supposed to be constantly flashing. I reset the modem, have nothing connected to it but it still constantly flashes. Is that normal?
