HELP! Virgin man taken my box!

Basically, just moved into a new place. Got BB, Phone line and the free TV.

Opted for quick installed. All arrived today, all set up no problem except the phone line...

Needs to be activated outside or something...

So, the guy comes in, sees a box downstairs and says, you already got virgin? I told him that the previous guy who lives here left it for me so i could get the basic channels. He told me he had to take the box!

Is he allowed to do this? The previous guy who lived here had virgin for well over 12 months...

Just thought I could use that box for one of the bedrooms as each room is hooked up to cable.

Oh, this installation guy keeps driving off somewhere, its the 3rd time now?! Where is he going? haha

Hi, any box you have needs to be on your account for it to work properly.

VM are trying to collect old STBs and modems from customers where they are no longer used.

He will probably be going to the green street cab to sort out things in there.

Yes he can take the box, it's Virgin's property and yes he should have.
I would call Virgin though to make sure he properly registers it as having been picked up and (without making any allegations) ensure it doesn't end up doing something dodgy!
