have the speed throttling hours changed?

I downloaded some large files (http), starting at 9pm. At first the speed started downloading at my expected 10mb connection. Now I can only seem to get download speeds of 2mb.

This is the second time in the past week and a half.

Have the throttling hours/t&c's changed?

Nah, it's likely you're not the only one downloading large files after 9pm and because you share that pipe with others...

Ah, I have just checked out their newsgroup. I have just seen they are doing a trial on my UBR and the time is now 10pm before I can download what I like:

Our current trial policy is active in the following areas:

* Wigan
* Blackpool
* Acton
* Aldershot
* Preston

I'm hardly a top 5% customer though. I download less than 5gb per week!
