View Full Version : Connection dropping every night between 3am and 4am

Hi there

Every night my connection (20mb, Halifax) drops, a reset of the modem (small dark blue one) and router (tp-link) sort its out, but its getting annoying now.

My modem settings are as below

I've called VM and they say the modem looks ok to them

Hope someone can help me

Your Downstream power level is way too low and the Upstream Power Level is way to high.

Call tech support and advise them of this.

the downstream is meant to be between -12 to +12dbmv
and the upstream is meant to be between 33 to 55dbmv

Got an engineer coming tuesday morning, so he will be able to sort it then
